Thyristors
Thyristors are solid-state switching devices used to control high power in AC and DC circuits. Once triggered, they latch on and continue conducting until the current drops below a certain level. They are commonly used in power control, rectifiers, motor drives, battery chargers, and protection circuits where reliable and controlled switching is required
